Justin Bieber’s fifth album is on the way, and he just dropped his “R&Bieber” lead single “Yummy.”
He co-wrote the track with Poo Bear. On the euphemistic chorus, the Canadian pop star sings:
Yeah, you got that yummy-yum
That yummy-yum, that yummy-yummy
Say the word, on my way
Yeah, babe, yeah, babe, yeah, babe, yeah, babe
Any night, any day
Say the word, on my way
He teased the track back in October, where he offered up a lyrical excerpt in the caption: “Any night any day, say the word on my way.”
The pop star closed out 2019 with a teaser video filled with all his new projects on the way, including a docu-series. “As humans we are imperfect,” he said in a voiceover. “My past, my mistakes, all the things that I’ve been through, I believe that I’m right where I’m supposed to be and God has me right where he wants me. I feel like this is different than the previous albums just because of where I’m at in my life.”
While Bieber hasn’t dropped an LP in over four years, he made a few guest appearances last year on Billie Eilish’s “bad guy (remix),” Dan + Shay’s “10,000 Hours,” and Ed Sheeran’s “I Don’t Care.”
His upcoming album will be his first full-length since 2015’s Purpose.
