Looking Back At A$AP Rocky’s “F**ckin’ Problems”

The track was originally intended for Kendrick Lamar.

A$AP Rocky’s stacked 2012 posse cut “Fuckin' Problems” features Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, and Drake. Produced by Noah “40” Shebib and Drake under the pseudonym C. Papi, the LONG.LIVE.A$AP track was the Harlem rapper’s first Billboard Hot 100 hit, peaking at No. 8 on the chart.

Originally intended for Kendrick before making its way to Rocky, “Fuckin Problems” is built around several songs. It reworks Aaliyah’s “Quit Hatin'” and interpolates Ol' Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” Nelly’s “Flap Your Wings,” and Kendrick’s own “Money Trees.”
