Lana Del Rey Drops Double Video For “F*ck It I Love You” & “The Greatest”

The singer reunited with Rich Lee, who directed music videos from ‘Lust for Life.’

Anticipation is high for Lana Del Rey’s sixth studio album, Norman Fucking Rockwell, and she just released a double video for “Fuck It I Love You” and “The Greatest” a week ahead of time.

“The Greatest” centers on feelings of loss, referencing everyone from Kanye West to David Bowie:

Hawaii just missed that fireball
L.A. is in flames, it’s getting hot
Kanye West is blond and gone
“Life on Mars” ain’t just a song

The music video was directed by Rich Lee, who previously worked on music videos for her previous album, Lust for Life.

Along with the rest of the new album, both songs are co-produced by Del Rey and Jack Antonoff. The double release marks the fifth and sixth singles off the album, following “Mariners Apartment Complex,” “Venice Bitch,” “Doin’ Time,” and “hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have–but i have it.”

Del Rey recently spoke about the latter single in a Billboard cover story. “It was staggered with references from living in Hollywood and seeing so many things that didn’t look right to me, things that I never thought I’d have permission to talk about, because everyone knew and no one ever said anything,” she said. “The culture only changed in the last two years as to whether people would believe you. And I’ve been in this business now for 15 years!”

Last month, Machine Gun Kelly revealed that his collaboration with the “Young and Beautiful” singer was stashed away after being scrapped from his latest album.
