Lil Peep’s ‘Come Over When You’re Sober Pt. 2’ Debuts At No. 4 On Billboard Top 200

Kane Brown and Imagine Dragons occupied No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.

The late Lil Peep scored a top five debut for his Come Over When You’re Sober Pt. 2. According to Billboard, the record moved 81,000 units in total, with 43,000 coming in album sales.

The week after Peep died, Come Over When You’re Sober Pt. 1 peaked at No. 38, with 16,000 equivalent album units sold.

Speaking at a listening session for Pt. 2, Peep’s mother Liza Womack said she wanted the record “to serve as the model for the way we handle the problem of posthumous release of the work of young artists who have left no explicit directions about what to do with their work if they die before they release it themselves.” She worked with producers Smokeasac and George Astasio, as well as Peep’s business partner Sarah Stennett, to finish and release the record.

Elsewhere on the charts, country singer Kane Brown notched his first No. 1 with Experiment. His sophomore studio LP moved 124,000 units. Imagine Dragons clocked in at No. 2, selling 91,000 units of Origins.

Trippie Redd’s A Love Letter To You 3 appeared at No. 3. He sold 84,000 en route to a personal high that bested Life’s a Trip’s 72,000 units from August. The previous week’s No. 1, Metro Boomin’s NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES fell to No. 8.
