Lil Uzi Vert has been cryptically hinting at new music on social media, and tonight he delivered on the promise with a new song titled “Sasuke.” It is produced by Uzi’s frequent collaborators Brandon Finessin and Outtatown.

On the track, Uzi raps:

Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke
This is not no Naruto, I trap it like Sasuke

This is a reference to Sasuke Uchiha, a character in the popular manga series, Naruto. He is a rival to the title character, Naruto Uzumaki.

After dealing with label drama and leaks throughout last year, Uzi has had a prolific 2020. He dropped the long-awaited Eternal Atake in early March, following up with a deluxe edition containing 14 new tracks one week later. The Philly rapper also made an appearance on Weekend’s “Heartless (Vapor Wave Remix).”

The original version of this article stated that Oogie Mane produced “Sasuke.” It has since been updated to reflect that Brandon Finessin and Outtatown actually produced it.
