He flipped the concept of Lil Wayne & Kendrick Lamar’s buzzing new track.

It’s been less than two weeks since the release of Lupe Fiasco’s new album DROGAS Wave, but the Chicago MC decided to treat fans with a little more new music. On Monday, he dropped “Left to Right,” a remix of Lil Wayne and Kendrick Lamar’s “Mona Lisa” off Tha Carter V. In a tweet shortly after he released the song, Lupe explained that the song is meant to narrate Leonardo DaVinci’s ‘The Last Supper’:

A video shared by FakeShoreDrive’s Andrew Barber highlights exactly how Lupe accomplishes this:

Over Infamous and Onhel’s production, Lupe spits about nearly every apostle at the table, including the infamous Judas:

Niggas gather round, we about to feast
Boy, get your hands off the table, you can have a seat
Blood won’t you talk to your homie, think he in on it?
Hold up, I got nothing to do with it, I put 10 on it
Yea, playboy got the shank, he gon poke him up, ay
Don’t be talkin’ behind my back, say that to both of us

Lupe’s DROGAS: Wave debuted at No. 60 on this week’s Billboard 200 albums chart. The project features a sequel to the fan-favorite “Hip-Hop Saved My Life” as well as a dense concept. As Lupe explained to Billboard the album follows a group of Africans who were thrown off slave ships and survived living under the ocean.
