“I just spent the winter livin’ after someone tried to send a kill shot, missin’ me.”

Machine Gun Kelly’s beef with Eminem seems to be the rap feud that will never die. After the two artists exchanged words earlier this year, MGK further referenced the beef on “Floor 13,” a cut off his new album, Hotel Diablo. The song is produced by BazeXX, Big Duke, JP Did This 1, and SlimXX, and finds Kelly brushing off the impact of Em’s “Killshot” diss track.

Genius contributor GeniusPlayboyX breaks it down in an annotation:

Since then, the two artists have continued to butt heads. After Em declined to perform “Killshot” at an Australian concert back in February, MGK called the rapper out and later performed his own “Rap Devil” diss track in Em’s hometown of Detroit. Young Thug even got involved to declare MGK the winner.

Hotel Diablo dropped on Friday, July 5, with features from Trippie Redd, Lil Skies, Yung Blood, and more. It’s the rapper’s first full-length album since 2017’s Bloom.
