Lil Peep’s estate dropped his new album, Everybody’s Everything, last week, complete with a new acoustic rendition of his 2016 Hellboy song, “walk away as the door slams.” Rapper Machine Gun Kelly decided to pay tribute to the late rapper with his own cover version of the song:
Although they didn’t have a relationship, MGK previously referenced Lil Peep on his 2019 song, “Glass House.” Genius user Siannve breaks it down in an annotation:
