Meek Mill & Justin Timberlake Team Up On “Believe”

The “Sexyback” artist has been spotted in the studio with Lizzo, SZA, and Haim.

Meek Mill and Justin Timberlake just cooked up their first team-up, “Believe.”

As Genius user NYLLOCK points out, the rapper teased his new track with audio of a woman reciting Luke 21:25-28:

There will be signs in the Sun, Moon and stars
On the Earth, nations will be in anguish at the roaring and tossing of the sea
People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what will come of the world
When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift your heads
Because your redemption is coming

Timberlake spoke about hitting the studio with Mill back in October. “I worked with SZA the other day and just worked with Meek Mill,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m having these experiences that are fueling me in such a different way and, again, I think it was really birthed out of feeling like, what can I do right now to just be a part of my community and integrate?”

The Man of the Woods singer appears to be gathering features for his next project, as he’s been spotted in the studio with Lizzo, Haim, and SZA. The latter collaborator spoke to Kerwin Frost about the studio session:

Before I was like, ‘What the fuck am I doing in the studio with Justin Timberlake right now? This is crazy.’ But when I heard his music and we started singing together and the harmonies and the note choices that we were finding together, it’s like, ‘Oh, we speak the same language. The same frequency.’ I understood where he was going before he could finish a run, and I wanted to be in that tandem.

As for Mill, he recently debuted a tribute song for the late Nipsey Hussle, “Letter to Nipsey,” with Roddy Ricch at the Grammys.
