Nearly two years after the release of “Motivation,” Normani is back with her latest single. She links up with Cardi B for “Wild Side,” a song she first previewed in a Tommy Hilfiger ad last month. The track features writing courtesy of Starrah, Keynon Moore, and frequent Cardi collaborator Pardison Fontaine.
The song’s dance-heavy music video pays tribute to Aaliyah, with Normani incorporating choreography reminiscent of the late R&B singer’s videos for songs like “Are You That Somebody?,” “More Than A Woman,” and “One In A Million.”
On the track, Normani sings about letting loose in a relationship:

Meanwhile, Cardi delivers some sexually explicit bars:
