Nicki Minaj and Calvin Harris collaborate for the first time ever on “Skrt On Me.” The track appears on Harris' new album Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1. It’s Nicki’s third new song in the last week, following her DJ Khaled collabs “I Can’t Even Lie” featuring Future and “Nobody” featuring Alicia Keys.
On the song’s third verse, Nicki drops a reference to New York Giants Punter Brad Wing, which Genius contributors killersnowtiger and TheNMKingdom break down in an annotation:
The chorus also contains a reference to Shakira’s 2005 hit “Hips Don’t Lie,” when Nicki raps:
