Nicki Minaj may not have immediate plans to release a new album, but it looks like she’s getting ready to drop some more new music anyway. In addition to her upcoming feature on Megan Thee Stallion’s new single, “Hot Girl Summer,” Nicki recently previewed two more new songs in an Instagram Live broadcast. This includes her unreleased remix of Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke’s breakout hit, “Welcome to the Party,” as well as a collaboration with her former tour-mate Juice WRLD.
Juice WRLD joined Nicki on her European tour earlier this year, and it seems they got some time in the booth together:
Pop Smoke first previewed Nicki’s “Welcome to the Party” remix during his listening party for Welcome to the Woo last week, and Nicki offered another glimpse of the song on IG Live:
Nicki’s last Instagram Live session featured a candid chat with Megan Thee Stallion about their respective careers, and Nicki recorded a verse for Megan’s “Hot Girl Summer” track with Ty Dolla $ign after the conversation. The Queens rapper dropped “Megatron” earlier this summer, although she’s been mum about when to expect her next project. “Well there’s definitely a new album, of course,” she told Jimmy Fallon in June. “I’m just not putting out the date yet.”
