Following the streaming release of One in A Million last month, Aaliyah’s 2001 self-titled album has now also available on all platforms. The album was released just one month before her tragic death in a plane crash in the Bahamas, and produced hits like “Rock the Boat,” “More Than A Woman,” and “Try Again.”
Aaliyah is the latest reissue from her former label BlackGround Records, arriving after over a decade of contentious behind-the-scenes fighting between the label and her estate. The company has also reissued One In A Million and the Romeo Must Die soundtrack, and plans to put out a pair of greatest hits compilations by the end of October.
