Production is handled by the likes of Kal Banx, OZ, Deputy, Pluss, Christo, PyrexTurnMeUp, and more.
Revenge of the Dreamers III is executive produced by J. Cole, Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad, and Adam Roy Rodney. The 18-track project was preceded by four singles: “Down Bad,” “Got Me,” “Costa Rica,” and “LamboTruck.”
Just a few days before the release date, Dreamville Records unveiled a David Peters-directed mini-documentary chronicling the recording sessions held in January.
During the Revenge documentary, J. Cole talked about the concept of the album. “My whole career, I’ve been in a room with me and at most, a few select people that I fuck with,“ he said. "I’m reaching a point in my career, this past year, like bro I don’t want to back twenty years from now like, ‘I never worked with nobody, I never had no fun.’ I had this idea, let’s go somewhere, lock in and invite a bunch of outside producers and artists to come fuck with it and just make this album.”
