Read All The Lyrics To Kygo’s New Album ‘Golden Hour’

Tyga, OneRepublic, Zac Brown, Whitney Houston, & Zara Larsson make appearances.

Kygo’s third studio album, Golden Hour, has been released worldwide. It boasts collaborations with Valerie Broussard, OneRepublic, Jamie N Commons, Zak Abel, Sandro Cavazza, and Zac Brown, as well as St. Lundi, Kim Petras, Oh Wonder, Dreamlab, Whitney Houston, Sasha Sloan, Sam Tinnesz, Patrick Droney, Petey, Joe Janiak, Zara Larsson, Tyga, Rhys Lewis, and Haux.

Golden Hour marks a change in Kygo’s signature style. It runs just over one hour and consists of 18 tracks signifying a “golden hour” of his music. Throughout the album, Kygo uses heavy tropical influence, as well as his signature vocal chops, to add to his typical production style. The project is a mixture of euphoric highs and melancholy personal tracks.

Prior to its release, Kygo put out five singles to promote the album: “Like It Is” with Zara Larrson and Tyga, “I’ll Wait” with Sasha Sloan, “Freedom” with Zak Abel, “Lose Somebody” with OneRepublic, and “The Truth” with Valerie Broussard.

Kygo used his social media heavily to promote the album ahead of its release. Before dropping each of the five singles, Kygo would follow the vocal collaborator on Instagram to hype it up.
