Jack Harlow just dropped his fifth mixtape, CONFETTI. The collection of songs includes the previously released tracks, “THRU THE NIGHT” and “HEAVY HITTER.” This is his first mixtape since last year’s Loose.
The Louisville rapper enlisted the help of EST Gee, 2forwOyNE, and Bryson Tiller. Pharrell Williams has a writing credit on “THRU THE NIGHT.” Jenius, The Understudy, and Willy Will took on production duties.
Harlow talked to Billboard about what sets CONFETTI apart from his previous work. “I think this project is a lot more personal than my last one,” he said. “I have a lot of honesty on there, the writing is better, and the songs are more complete. There’s complete records all over it, opposed to little ideas I’ve come up with. There are more concepts and themes to go behind the music.”
