The soundtrack for Top Boy–executive produced by Drake–just dropped. The album accompanies the premiere of Neflix’s revival of British drama Top Boy. This is the OVO Sound head’s latest credit as executive producer after working on the buzzworthy show, Euphoria.
Naturally, Drake appears on the soundtrack, flanked by OVO Sound signees Baka Not Nice and Popcaan. UK artists like Giggs, Dave, AJ Tracey and Little Simz also appear on the tracklist.
Back in 2017, the “God’s Plan” artist spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about watching the crime series on YouTube. “And that human element drew me in,” he said. “I started just looking them up. Like, who are these people? Are these actors I should know? Are they just famous over there? I remember I hit Future, and I was just like, ‘This show is incredible.’”
