Migos Release Deluxe Edition Of ‘Culture III’ With Five New Tracks

Less than a week after releasing their long-awaited album, Culture III, Migos are back with the deluxe edition. The new version adds five new songs, none of which have any features but do include production from the likes of Murda Beatz, Kid Hazel, and DJ Durel.

Offset teased the deluxe edition on Twitter yesterday.

Releasing deluxe editions of albums has become a common tactic in music, but Migos' releasing theirs today is unique. Most artists wait a week after their album comes out in an attempt to boost their second-week sales. But Migos released their deluxe edition on a Thursday, which means the streams will count towards their first week sales.

Dropping the deluxe today may be a move to counteract one of the artists featured on Culture III While both Culture and Culture II debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200, C3 is facing stiff competition from Chicago rapper Polo G and his new album, Hall of Fame. According to HitsDailyDouble, Polo is currently on pace to outsell Migos by about 9,000 units.
