NF is back with his fourth studio album, The Search. It follows 2017’s Perception, which marked the Michigan rapper’s first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
LA singer-songwriter Sasha Sloan is the only guest on the 20-track project, which features production by NF’s longtime collaborator, Tommee Profitt. The Search includes four previously released singles: “WHY,” “The Search,” “When I Grow Up,” and “Time.”
In a recent Instagram post, Profitt described his experience with working on The Search alongside NF. “So far in 2019, I’ve spent the majority of the year locked away in a cave with this guy… making music,” he wrote. “It’s been amazing to watch the story unfold from the beginning, but of all 4 albums we’ve made together… I’ve never been more excited for a release than this one.”
