Sabrina Carpenter just released her fourth studio album, Singular: Act II. The album includes three previously released singles: “In My Bed,” “Pushing 20,” and “Exhale.” The project is the sequel to last year’s Singular: Act I.
Saweetie makes an appearance on “I Can’t Stop Me.” Notable producers on the album include StarGate, Jonas Jeberg, and Mauricio Rengifo.
Carpenter spoke to PopCrush about how II connects to the first Singular album:
Act II shows a different side of confidence. Act I was about empowering badass behavior. Bringing it into Act II, I want to show that there are multiple sides to confidence. It’s not just, like, great posture or appearing strong all the time; we all have weak and vulnerable moments that are also strong because they show us who we are and show us who belongs in our life. Through those moments, you change.
