Just days after releasing his latest album, After Hours, The Weeknd has dropped a deluxe edition featuring five new tracks. One of the songs is the official audio for his Saturday Night Live performance of “Scared to Live,” while the other four are remixes. Lil Uzi Vert, Chromatics, and DaHeala all make appearances.
Prior to the release of the deluxe edition, After Hours was already projected to earn more than 400,000 equivalent album units in the US for the week ending March 26 and handily top the Billboard 200. These extra tracks will give The Weeknd a shot at matching BTS for the biggest album sales week in 2020. Earlier this month, the K-pop group’s latest release, Map of the Soul: 7, debuted atop the albums chart with 422,000 units.
