Australian rapper The Kid LAROI just released his debut album, F-CK LOVE. In addition to the rising artist’s late mentor Juice WRLD, the project features Lil Mosey and Corbin. Producers include Taz Taylor, Tito Beats, Neek, MjNichols, Rio Leyva, Pharaoh Vice, oktanner, and Omer Fedi.
Ahead of the album, Laroi dropped a pair of singles: “TELL ME WHY” and “GO” with Juice WRLD. He broke down the meaning of the latter track on a recent episode of Genius' series Verified:
As Laroi revealed in the “GO” music video, Juice’s guest verse served as a gift for his 16th birthday.
In a recent interview with Billboard, the teenage rapper spoke about his inspiration for the album’s title.
“When I was super young, the first girl that I really liked, we were super young, but she fake cheated on me,” Laroi explained. “And even though we were super young and the relationship didn’t mean anything, I guess you always kind of keep that in the back of your mind, so you never really take anybody else seriously.”
