Two years after the release of his sophomore album, Bloom, Troye Sivan is back with a new EP titled In A Dream. The project features his recent singles “Take Yourself Home,” “Easy,” and “Rager teenager!” Swedish producer and songwriter OZGO contributes heavily to the project after previously working with Sivan on songs like “i’m so tired…” and “Plum.”
Sivan recently opened up to Billboard about how In A Dream came together.
“I didn’t go in thinking I was going to write an album,” he told the host. “I’ve got an EP because I was just kind of going through a lot and I just wanted to start writing,” he said. “I didn’t know this EP is such a weird little thing in that all of these songs sound pretty different from each other. And I think the through line, through all of them, is just that I felt like I needed to write that day.”
