Swae Lee Drops Drake-Assisted “Won’t Be Late” & New Solo Single “Sextasy”

The rapper appears to be gearing up for his next solo album.

The rollout of Swae Lee’s next solo project has begun, with the Rae Sremmurd rapper dropping a pair of new singles today. Swae links up with Drake for “Won’t Be Late,” while “Sextasy” is a solo track.

“Won’t Be Late” features production by Mike WiLL Made-It and Tekno. On the song, Drake says:

Yeah, yeah, savin’ my time for you
Suddenly I freed up
Freezin’ my times with you
When I’m lonely, I can’t bring him up
Closed off my line for you, and you’re my line ting
I better when I’m just on my own, girl

Meanwhile, “Sextasy” is produced by Mike WiLL and ChopsquadDJ. On the track, Swae delivers seductive lyrics:

Let me give you sextasy
Don’t let me be a memory
I’ve got the drink and a remedy
I know you be so intimate with me

Swae Lee and Mike WiLL have been teasing new music over the past week on social media. Although it’s not technically Swae’s first outing alone, his previous solo project, Swaecation, dropped as part of Rae Sremmurd’s SR3MM triple-disc album. This time, it appears he’ll be putting out new music on his own, outside of the long-running partnership with his brother Slim Jxmmi.
