He rides in a tank in the visual for the third single from ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys.’

Post Malone released his latest single “Psycho” featuring Ty Dolla $ign last month, scoring another hit in advance of his upcoming album Beerbongs & Bentleys. Today he drops a James Defina-directed video for the track which takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

In the clip, Malone rides in a tank through the desert while performing the song. Along the way to his destination, he uses a flamethrower to torch a wolverine. Dolla $ign sings his part of the song while seated inside the tank before the duo finally arrives at a location likely inspired by his favorite video game series Fallout.

On a line from the song’s chorus, Malone appears to be referencing his love for video games. Genius contributor SpeckHelper breaks down the connection:

Malone has also spoken about his doomsday fascination on several occasions. During a 2017 appearance on the H3 Podcast, he shared his plans to build an apocalypse shelter:

I’m just buying a place out in the sticks. I’m building it underground. It’s going to be fun until the world ends. But whenever the world ends, it’s going to be functional.

In November, Malone told Rolling Stone that he was eyeing a $3 million, 13,000-square-foot house in Utah:

It’s free country out there. Like, you can buy suppressors in Utah. You can do open-carry. Walk into the grocery store with a handgun on your hip. Cowboy shit. I can’t wait.

Beerbongs & Bentleys currently doesn’t have a release date, but with Malone’s debut album Stoney still hanging around the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, there’s no reason for him to drop it anytime soon. In September, Malone shared the LP’s chart-topping lead single “rockstar” featuring 21 Savage.
