Haley Williams even threw in some lyrics from ”Hold On, We’re Going Home.’

Paramore stopped by BBC Radio 1’s Xtra’s Live Lounge to perform a few cuts from the band’s latest album After Laughter. While they were there, Hayley Williams and co. decided to follow Live Lounge tradition by performing a cover of a popular song. The Tennessee band went with Drake’s “Passionfruit,” keeping the lyrics the same while the band recreated the song’s instrumentation live on stage.

During the performance, Williams sang through “Passionfruit” in a soft falsetto:

Listen
Harder buildin' trust from a distance
I think we should rule out commitment for now
‘Cause we’re fallin’ apart

She even threw in a few lyrics from the OVO boss' 2013 hit “Hold On, We’re Going Home” at the end, singing:

I got my eyes on you
You act so different around me
I think there’s something, baby

“Passionfruit” is currently the biggest hit from Drake’s March playlist More Life, peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this year. The track is produced by U.K. beatsmith Nana Rogues, who also worked on the More Life track “Skepta’s Interlude.”
