Rosalía Hops On The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” Remix

The song remains at No. 9 on the Hot 100 chart a full year after its release.

The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” is officially 2020’s biggest hit, and now the song has a new remix with Spanish star ROSALÍA. The Catalan singer adds a pair of new Spanish-language verses to the track, and joins The Weeknd in singing parts of the song’s chorus. It’s the latest in a series of high-profile collaborations for her this year, following team-ups with Travis Scott and Bad Bunny.

On the track, ROSALÍA sings about loneliness and trying to reconnect:

Yo intenté llamar
Llevo mucho sola, la verdad
Maybe tú me enseñas cómo amar

This week marks one full year since “Blinding Lights” was released, and the song still sits at No. 9 on this week’s Hot 100 chart. Although The Weeknd was surprisingly snubbed at the Grammys, the song remains a massive hit. ROSALÍA’s remix promises to give it yet another boost.
