Two years after dropping his acclaimed sixth studio album, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, Tyler, The Creator has returned with the LP’s expanded edition, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale. The deluxe version adds eight new songs, all of which Tyler says were recorded for the original album but did not end up making the cut. “Some of those songs I really love, and knew they would never see the light of day, so Ive decided to put a few of them out,” he explained in a tweet announcing the expanded edition.
CMIUGL made quite the splash when it initially arrived in 2021. The LP, which features guest spots from Lil Wayne, Ty Dolla $ign and Pharrell, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later took home the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. Tyler had previously taken home the same trophy for 2019’s IGOR.
Leading up to the release of The Estate Sale, Tyler shared two of the LP’s new tracks, “DOGTOOTH” and “SORRY NOT SORRY,” along with their accompanying music videos. Both songs climbed into the Top 5 on the Genius Top Songs chart upon release and are still holding strong.
