YoungBoy Never Broke Again returns today with The Last Slimeto, his fourth solo album and third full-length release of 2022. Earlier in the year, YoungBoy also dropped the solo mixtape Colors and a collaborative project with rapper DaBaby, BETTER THAN YOU. Both projects debuted in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200.
Leading up to the release of The Last Slimeto, YoungBoy shared an 11-track sampler of the album as well two promotional singles–adding up to nearly half of the 30-track project. Among those promotional singles were the Quavo link-up “Don’t Rate Me” and his alleged Lil Durk diss track, “I Hate YoungBoy.” The latter track caused quite the stir upon release, even inspiring a retaliation track from Gucci Mane called “Publicity Stunt.”
The Last Slimeto isn’t the only good thing YoungBoy’s got going on these days. A few days before the album dropped, the Baton Rouge MC seemingly confirmed a rumor that he inked a whopping $60 million deal with Atlantic Records. “I am now a 60 million dollar nigga, you lil puppies,” he wrote in an Instagram story.
