Blackbear just dropped his fifth studio album, Anonymous. The album was initially scheduled to be released in February, but it got pushed back because signing to Interscope meant it had “2 BE PERFECT.” However, the singer released a couple of pre-release singles, like “1 SIDED LOVE” and “HIGH1X.”
The 18-track album features eight producers, including Blackbear, Aaron Harmon, Corporal, FRND, Joe Kirkland, Jordan Reyes, Jurek, and Twice as Nice.
In a lengthy Instagram post, blackbear wrote about the album release in the wake of his three-year sobriety. “im fucking grateful this album is called ANONYMOUS cause it means im learning to live with less EGO,” he wrote in the caption. “ego stands for EXIT GOD OUT when im in self will i only care about me NOT YOU and today that story is different.”
