BROCKHAMPTON is back with its first album of 2018. iridescence delivers 15 new tracks, including features from Jaden Smith, Jazmine Sullivan, ​serpentwithfeet, and Ryan Beatty. The group recently revealed that the album is part of a new trilogy titled THE BEST YEARS OF OUR LIVES, which was the original title for this album. BROCKHAMPTON’s last three albums SATURATION, SATURATION II, and SATURATION III were also a trilogy.

iridescence is the group’s first album since it kicked Ameer Vann out over sexual misconduct allegations. BROCKHAMPTON recorded the project at the famed Abbey Road studios in London. “We started from scratch and were like, ‘Let’s make an album in 10 days and put it out next month,’” Kevin Abstract explained in a recent interview with Annie Mac. “The way we like to make music is we’ll announce a project when there are zero songs, and then we take that pressure and try to make an album really fast.”
