Calvin Harris‘ first album since 2014’s Motion has arrived. Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 features an extensive list of pop, R&B, and rap stars, including Frank Ocean, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Future, Migos, Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, Pharrell Williams, Kehlani, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Lil Yachty, and more. Production is handled almost entirely by Harris, with Fools Gold producer A-Trak lending a hand on “Prayers Up.”
The 10-track project features four previously released singles: “Slide” featuring Migos and Frank Ocean, “Heatstroke” featuring Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams, and Young Thug, “Rollin” featuring Future and Khalid, and “Feels” featuring Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, and Big Sean.
Although Harris hasn’t given any interviews about Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, he has been busy promoting it on social media and recently dropped the project’s first music video for “Feels” earlier this week. He previously hinted that he would be releasing 10 songs in 2017, which lines up exactly with the number of tracks on the album.
