Nearly a year after the release of their comeback single “All the Way Up,” Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s new album, Plata o Plomo, is finally here. The 12-track album features Kent Jones, Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana, The-Dream, and Sevyn Streeter. Producers include Cool & Dre and Edsclusive.
The album includes the previously-released singles “Cookin,” “Heartbreak,” “Money Showers,” and of course their Platinum hit “All the Way Up,” which peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart last June.
The pair discussed Plata o Plomo during a recent appearance on Power 105’s The Breakfast Club. “This New York area, y’all better support this,” Fat Joe said. “You ain’t had no major New York album come out like this in years, with the quality and the hits that’s on this, and we got the mud. And we got the dirtiest rhymes, lyrics, hardcore stuff too. This album is complete from A-Z.”
