After weeks of anticipation, Harry Styles drops his self-titled debut solo album today. The 10-track album is executive produced by Jeff Bhasker, who has previously worked with artists like Eminem, Rihanna, Kanye West, and A$AP Rocky. The album includes Styles' previously released singles “Sign of the Times” and “Sweet Creature,” as well as “Carolina” and “Ever Since New York,” which he premiered on Saturday Night Live and The Today Show, respectively.
During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Bhasker explained how the album came together. “It’s different from what you’d expect,” he said. “It made me realize the Harry [when he was in One Direction] was kind of the digitized Harry. Almost like a character. I don’t think people know a lot of the sides of him that are on this album. You put it on and people are like, ‘This is Harry Styles?‘”
