At last, Lil Baby is back with his third studio album, It’s Only Me. The Atlanta rapper has been talking about dropping the follow-up to 2020’s My Turn for a couple years, and back in February, he announced the project was “almost done.” He later hinted the LP would arrive in July, but it wasn’t until September that he finally set a date.
“It’s Only Me 10-14-22 I Kno Its Been Along Time Coming But I’m Coming Harder And Harder …… #worththewait,” Lil Baby wrote on Instagram.
Not that Lil Baby’s been resting on his laurels. Last year, he partnered with Lil Durk on the joint album The Voice of the Heroes. Earlier this year, he released “The World Is Yours to Take,” an anthem for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, and he unveiled Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby, an Amazon Prime documentary about his rise to fame.
It’s Only Me includes the previously released singles “Heyy” and “In a Minute.” Among the guests featured on the 23-track LP are Nardo Wick, Young Thug, Future, and Fridayy.
