Nathan Feuerstein, the rapper known around the world as NF, returns today with HOPE, his fifth studio album and first since 2019’s The Search. The avowedly Christian MC is riding something of a hot streak, as his last two studio albums both reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
HOPE includes the previously released singles “HOPE” and “MOTTO,” both of which have fared well on the Genius Top Songs chart, and it features two guests: rapper Cordae and pop singer-songwriter Julia Michaels.
In a tweet last September, NF explained to fans why it’s taken so long for his fifth LP to arrive. “I don’t take this long on albums because I want to,” NF wrote. “Each album my perfectionism has gotten worse. This project I’ve experienced a lot of ocd obsessions that use to help me in the past but now have increased to an unhealthy level.That being said I’m really excited to share it.”
