Remy Ma previously said that her beef with Nicki Minaj was officially over, but it was hard to tell from her Summer Jam set. The Bronx rapper took the stage at Hot 97’s annual hip-hop concert for a performance of “ShETHER,” her February diss track aimed at Nicki that first put their rivalry in the spotlight. The song came in response to perceived subliminal disses on Nicki’s part and Remy later followed it up with “Another One,” forcing Nicki to respond on “No Frauds.”

Remy’s decision to perform the diss track comes just days after audio of Nicki’s feature verse on 2 Chainz’s unreleased song “Realize” appeared to contain more shots at her rival. Nicki and 2 Chainz’s song will be featured on his new album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, which drops on June 16.
“ShETHER” uses the same beat as Nas‘ classic diss track “Ether,” which was aimed at Jay Z during the pair’s infamous beef. Jay famously kicked off the rivalry by calling out Nas during Summer Jam in 2001, and he later dropped the diss track “Takeover” aimed at his fellow New York rapper.
