Since its arrival in October, “Love Back” has amassed over 10 million streams for rising pop stars Why Don’t We. To create the track, the boy band enlisted a few outside songwriters: James Abrahart, Jeremy Dussolliet, and producers Jackson Foote and Johnny Simpson. Why Don’t We member Daniel Seavey also earns a writing credit. This marks a change of pace for Why Don’t We, who wrote and produced their 2021 sophomore album, The Good Times and The Bad Ones, themselves.
“Love Back” is Why Don’t We’s first single since dropping The Good Times and The Bad Ones. They’ve since also released a stripped-back version of the song.
