The late Pop Smoke’s “Dior” became his first solo hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with 102 million YouTube views to date. It is produced by 808 Melo and appears on Pop’s studio debut, Shoot For The Stars, Aim For The Moon. Genius recently sat down with the UK producer to break down how the song was made.
“If it wasn’t for him this whole thing wouldn’t become what it is today,” said Melo of Pop. “His legacy will live on. I will make sure of that as well.”
