“This song is definitely more like a vibe. It’s more sensual. It’s a little bit more muted.”

Tinashe reunited with Future for a new single titled “Faded Love”, which she just dropped today. The two previously linked up for “How Many Times," one of Tinashe’s favorite tracks off her 2014 debut Aquarius. “Faded Love” is the latest single to be shared from her forthcoming album Joyride, following last month’s release of “No Drama” featuring Offset.

There’s no official release date yet for the long-awaited sophomore album, however, Tinashe reassured that the album is done and that fans can expect a third single called “Me So Bad.”

The singer recently spoke to Genius about “No Drama,” and she also discussed the inspiration behind the sensual “Faded Love.”

“I would describe ‘Faded Love’ as just one of those moods you’re in,” she says. “You just are feeling sexy and you don’t necessarily have to think it through too much. You don’t necessarily need to be like with somebody that you love, but maybe you’re just like feeling in the mood tonight, you know?”

Tinashe sat down with Genius for the latest episode of Verified and broke down the new single. Watch her go line-for-line with “Faded Love” featuring Future in the video above, and check out past episodes, too.
