The rapper’s new album is due this Friday.

Following the release of his recent single, “LUMBERJACK,” Tyler, The Creator is back today with his new song and video “WUSYANAME.” The self-produced song finds Tyler reflecting on California’s car culture and reminiscing on meeting a girl he immediately found himself attracted to.

He begins with a spoken-word monologue:

In California, you spend most of your life in cars
Moving, traveling, searching for somewhere to land
I don’t mind tip-toeing across the globe for thrills

Soon after, he’s romancing her:

Let’s go to Cannes and watch a couple indie movies that you never heard of
Listen to bands, groove and we dance
Disco in France, smell some perfume, head in the wind
We can switch off
I can show you how you can really exfoliate ya skin

Tyler’s new album, CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST, is due out this Friday, June 20. It’s his first project since the release of his Grammy-winning 2019 album, IGOR.
