What About Today?

Barbra Streisand

About “What About Today?”

What About Today? is a studio album by American singer, songwriter, and filmmaker Barbra Streisand. The album was released in 1969 and was Barbra’s attempt at recording contemporary pop songs from artists like The Beatles, and Paul Simon. However, the album became one of her only studio albums not to be certified Gold or Platinum by RIAA.

On the US Billboard 200, it peaked at number 31 and became her shortest run for a studio album released during the decade, spending 17 weeks on the chart.

In 1993, the album was included as part of the “Barbra Streisand Collection”, a collection in which Columbia Records released eleven studio albums on Compact Disc (CD).
