PULSE

Benson Boone

About “PULSE”

PULSE is the second EP by singer-songwriter, Benson Boone. Released by Warner Records, PULSE contained Benson’s hit singles “Sugar Sweet“ and “What Was”.

When talking about his previous work compared to the EP with FAULT Magazine, Benson stated:

I would say this music came a lot more naturally. The previous music I’ve released has been the very beginning of my music writing journey. PULSE is the first body of work I have release where all the songs I’ve written have been with a small group of people I’ve grown very comfortable with. The sessions were less focused on the intensity of finishing a song, and more on the fun we have writing and creating these tracks.

“PULSE” Q&A

  • What does the title of the EP mean?

Pulse is like the smallest sign of life. When you feel a pulse you know something is still alive. To me, this EP is the first of a lot of new music this year and a lot of new music coming years. These are the types of songs I’ll be releasing. This EP, no song is similar to the next they’re all very different. So this is like the beginning of a new era of my music. It’s the smallest part, beginning of life of my continued bodies of work.
