Believe is the twenty-second studio album by American singer Cher, first released on October 22, 1998 via Warner Bros. Records. The album found Cher experimenting with a more Euro disco sound and with the use of auto-tune, as used prominently in her song “Believe”.
A total of four singles were released from the album: “Believe”, “Strong Enough”, “All or Nothing”, and “Dov'è l'amore”. “Believe”, which was released as the lead single from the album, was a massive hit, peaking at number one in countries including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the United States, amongst 16 other countries.
