The Best So Far… is D'Angelo’s first compilation album, released as a double-disc album. The first disc is comprised of tracks from his first two studio albums: July 1995’s Brown Sugar. and January 2000’s Voodoo, features, soundtrack tracks, and alternate versions of solo tracks. The second disc, a DVD, contains 7 of D'Angelo’s music videos.
