Come Taste the Band is Deep Purple’s tenth studio album, and the first to not feature original guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, instead featuring Tommy Bolin on guitar. Like the band’s two previous albums, Burn and Stormbringer, Come Taste the Band features David Coverdale, Glenn Hughes, Jon Lord, and Ian Paice as well. This would be the band’s last studio album for nine years, until Perfect Strangers was released in 1984.
