KHALED KHALED is DJ Khaled’s twelfth studio album. It is the follow-up to his May 2019 album, Father of Asahd.
On July 13, 2020, Khaled announced via Instagram the ensuing release of two singles, each of which would feature Drake. Two days later, he revealed that the singles would be titled “POPSTAR” and “GREECE.” This was also the official announcement of the album’s title. The two singles were released on the 17th.
On April 27, 2021, DJ Khaled finally unveiled the album’s release date artwork via Instagram.
There’s 14 songs. I put everything I could in each song. In the intro I want you to feel the pain and struggle and fights but also feel the light. And then boom, the second song with you and Lil Durk, I’m letting ‘em know, ’‘This ain’t no game’‘. Every chance we get, we gon’ keep goin'. Then you got Cardi and she goin' bad, she goin' crazy. So to answer your question, all the songs are my favorite song ‘cause we got the Jay and Nas, we got the WE GOING CRAZY, H.E.R. and Migos.
