Love Sick is Don Toliver’s third studio album, released on February 24, 2023.
Don first teased the title of the album in a tweet on April 3, 2022. On September 6, 2022, he was interviewed by British GQ, in which he said he was trying to go in a “futuristic R&B and soul” direction for the album. On February 14, 2023, Don revealed through a tweet that there would be a special announcement regarding the album that would be shared three days later. Three days later, he shared the cover art of the album and its release date.
The lead single of the album, “Do It Right,” was released on November 18, 2022. The second single, “4 Me,” featuring Don’s girlfriend, Kali Uchis, was released on February 15, 2023. The third single, “Leave the Club,” featuring Lil Durk and GloRilla, was released two days later.

What have the artists said about the album?
Well, Love Sick is kind of just the threshold to a story that I created. I wanted to make an album and I wanted to make a movie and a soundtrack for the album. So Love Sick is basically just a term for you going through whatever you’re going through with your significant other, ways, whether it’s bad, good, ugly, sad, whatever. Everybody within the movie, short film that I created for Love Sick is lovesick, whether it’s the cook, the diner, the cop, me, my girlfriend [Kali Uchis]. So it’s something that you have to pay attention to in a movie to really understand, but that’s exactly what the definition of it is. […] Yeah, it’s definitely just like your own choice, it’s really what it is. It’s like, do you choose to, you know, stay faithful and lock in with your significant other or do you choose to deal with everything else in the world that has nothing to do with that? So that’s basically, you know, the duality of Love Sick.

Love Sick debuted and peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200 for the chart week ending March 11, 2023. The album moved 40,500 album equivalent units in its first sales week (51.23 million on-demand streams and 1,000 pure sales).
