Build A Problem Tracklist
Build a Problem is dodie’s highly anticipated debut album, originally slated for a March release, and instead released on May 7, 2021. It was officially announced along with the tracklist on both of her YouTube channels on October 19, 2020, prefaced by a series of 12 videos on her vlog channel in which one letter of the album title was revealed at a time.
While the original release date was March 5, dodie announced on both her doddleoddle and doddlevloggle channels that the release would have to be pushed back by three weeks due to problems with vinyl distribution related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

What have the artist said about the album?
[Build a Problem is about] the problems I build in my life and other people’s lives. I’ve been thinking a lot about the way people are built and shaped, and I feel like that is the main theme of everything I write. I am the problem that was built.
With this album, I wanted to make beautiful music. But I also wanted to prove myself. It feels good to do that.
