공감 or “Empathy” in English marks the solo debut album by one of the three main vocalists of the South Korean boy group EXO, D.O. and is supported by the title track “Rose”.
With it, D.O. becomes the sixth member of SM Entertainment’s powerhouse group to make his debut as a solo artist, following Kai and Suho in 2020, Baekhyun and Chen in 2019, as also Lay in 2016.

Why is the album titled, 공감 (Empathy)?
In an interview, D.O. shared why he named the album “공감 (Empathy),”
There were times when I couldn’t relate to the word ’empathy,’ but I felt that there was a lot of energy in it. So, just like I had experienced good and influential energy, I decided to go with the theme of ’empathy’ with the desire to give that to others.”
